Geologic reports specific to the Oregon portion of the McDermitt Caldera complex are hard to find. Most reports tend to address the geology of the area across the state line in Nevada. The following is one such report but it does provide basic info on what the geology is like in Oregon along the Nevada-Oregon state line where Strategic has its claims. 	New Mexico alone has been responsible for over 40% of total Uranium mined in the USA. The New Mexico Bureau of Mines estimates that the State still has many millions of pounds of Uranium yet to be mined. The US Dep't of the Interior notes that Tertiary alkaline complexes in New Mexico contain significant resources of Rare Earth minerals in the Lincoln County porphyry belt. The New Mexico Bureau of Mines notes that the rocks of the Lemitar Mtns are enriched in Rare Earth minerals, barite and fluorite.
